Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVE IN ACCRA
Day 1: ARRIVE IN ACCRA

When you arrive at Kotoka International Airport, go through immigration, get your luggage, get through customs, then leave and meet our experienced Cultural Tour guide.

You will have a panoramic sightseeing experience of Accra following a brief overview and orientation. We will have a picturesque drive in our own air-conditioned vehicle across the stunning and expansive University of Ghana, Legon campus.

One of Accra's oldest districts, Jamestown Community, is where we go. Here, history is present around every corner. The original lighthouse was built by the British in 1875, and it is most well-known for its role as a navigational aid for commerce ships passing through the Gulf of Guinea. Despite the destruction of the original building, a new, larger lighthouse that was finished in 1921 is still in use today.

See the activity at the fish market by the water as fishmongers sell their catch and fishermen dock their boats. Then you proceed to the hotel, where your guide, who will be by your side the entire time, will give you a briefing on what to anticipate during your stay in Ghana.

Drive past the famed Oxford Street on the way to your hotel, which is lined with vibrant stores and stalls where you can shop for genuine African designs, beaded apparel, and ready-made clothing.

Day 2:  ACCRA-ADA FOAH RESORT
Day 2:  ACCRA-ADA FOAH RESORT

After breakfast, you'll journey from the busy city of Accra to Ada Foah for an upscale experience at Aqua Safari Resort, a top eco-friendly luxury hideaway resort in the center of Ada Foah, which is 2 hours' drive from Accra, the capital of Ghana. Here, you may take advantage of the perfect fusion of a beautiful beach, charming village tours, and some sunshine. Additionally, you will learn about the locals' fascinating and inspiring past.

Finish your trip of Accra by going to Independence Square to observe the enclosed flame of African liberty, which was ignited there in 1961 by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, the first president of Ghana's final resting place, is our next stop. An adjacent museum, which is located in lovely grounds and features images, artifacts, and information on Dr. Nkrumah's life, is also there.

Continue on to Ada Foah, where you will arrive in time for a delectable meal (cooked with fresh farm vegetables) that you may either enjoy on the beach or in the serene chalet garden. There is a chance to participate in fascinating activities taking place at the hotel, such as witnessing lovely orange flames flicker into the Ada night sky as the resort treats you to a fantastic evening with the DJ's personalized music.

The rest of the evening is free time.

Day 3: ADA FOAH RESORT

After a delicious breakfast, spend the morning at leisure sunbathing along the Atlantic Ocean, whether it be at the beach, chalet, terrace, or island. You can go for a walk around the resort, which most closely resembles a walk through a Discovery Channel episode. If the charming donkeys don't make you laugh, the amiable dwarf ponies will have you posing for photos immediately. When you can glide the tour, why walk it? You have the entire day to discover all that Big Ada has to offer as you float through its ins and outs with ease and grace. As you tour the town of Ada on a Segway, take pleasure in the lovely journey.

You can choose from a variety of activities as well. Enjoy the thrill of your first capture of Barracuda, Dorado, Tuna Mackerel, etc., or seize the chance to go kayaking or canoeing with the resort's GHALDA certified crew and have some fun. You can also take a leisurely bike ride around Ada Township and get in touch with nature.

Alternatively, you may spend the day relaxing on the beach with your private butler topping off your beverage as needed, or you can take a refreshing dip in the gorgeous resort pool that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. You can also simply take in the breathtaking views from your balcony.

After lunch, take a leisurely boat ride to the Mangroves and Island to learn more about the efforts being made by the island's gin producers to promote responsible tourism and safeguard the environment.
