Leisurely breakfast then depart to the ruined Roman city of Sbeitla. Spend time touring the ruins located at the foot of a hill by the river. Continue to Kairouan, once the capital of Maghreb and still an important Islamic centre. Visit the Great Mosque, an important Islamic architecture, the Aghlabite Pools, which represent the most important piece of hydraulic engineering of the Middle Ages. Here you may visit the covered Souks in the Medina and try your bargaining skills to garner great souvenir values. Return to Tunis for overnight.
