Conakry is around an hour and a half away from beautiful, cascading waterfalls. During the dry season of January-March, there is substantially little, if any, water. Swimming and climbing around the falls are easy because the water and environment are carefully maintained and kept clean. There is a restaurant on-site where you can get a decent supper. There is a fee to enter, albeit the price seems to fluctuate for unclear reasons. Maybe that’s a ruse, but that’s how it works. Expect to pay something when you arrive, and try to figure out how much it should cost before you leave.
