Day 1: CAPE TOWN

Arrive Johannesburg, and make the connecting flight to Cape Town. Arrive Cape Town; meet assist and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Southern Sun Waterfront or Similar

Day 2: TABLE MOUNTAIN, CAPE TOWN, ROBBEN ISLAND

After breakfast, go on a city tour of Cape Town, starting with a cable car ride to Table Mountain. The state-of-the-art cable car rotates 360 degrees on its way to the top, offering a panoramic view of the City. At the summit enjoy a magnificent view of Cape Town. After Table Mountain visit the City Centre, the Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope and the Milnerton Lighthouse for a view Table Mountain. In the afternoon, take the ferry to Robben Island, the former political prison where president Nelson Mandela spent more than two decades as a political prisoner. See President Mandela’s maximum security prison cell (Cell 5) and the lime quarries where he and other political prisoners served hard labour. This historic landmark is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 3: CAPETOWN

After breakfast visit the picturesque ‘Malay Quarter’, a living cultural museum and home to the oldest Mosque in the Southern Hemisphere. Discover the unique culture, lifestyle and personality of the Cape Muslim community and observe their contribution to South Africa’s development. In the afternoon visit Nazareth House, where the Sisters of Nazareth care for the aged poor as well as the vulnerable, orphaned and abandoned children. Day 4: CAPE PENINSULAR FULL DAY TOUR

Full day Tour of the Cape Peninsular, drive along the Atlantic seaboard with its gorgeous white beaches and rugged mountains to Hout Bay, continue on to Chapman’s Peak Drive, renowned as one of the most stunning roadways in the world visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve, the tip of the Cape Peninsula that has captivated travelers where the Atlantic meets the Indian Ocean. Return to Capetown with a stop at the Wine Country. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast & Dinner Overnight at Southern Sun Waterfront or Similar

Day 5: CAPETOWN- JOHANNESBURG

Day at leisure shopping for souvenirs, this evening transfer to airport for flight to Johannesburg meet assist and transfer to Hotel. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Dinner Overnight at Rivonia Bed & Breakfast or Similar

Day 6: JOHANNESBURG- LESEDI CULTURAL VILLAGE

This afternoon visit Lesedi Cultural Village, a multicultural village set amongst rocky hills where the cultures, customs and traditions of four of South Africa’s tribes are brought to life. Attend a presentation on the history and origin of the different ethnic groups and take a guided tour of the four homesteads – Zulu, Xhosa, Basotho and Pedi. In the afternoon all the villages will perform their traditional songs and dances. Guests are invited to join in and display their artistic skills. A Pan African Feast is served in the Nyama Choma restaurant with delicacies from North, East and Southern Africa. Late afternoon continue to Johannesburg where the rest of the evening is at leisure for shopping at the upscale shops in Sandton. Day 7: JOHANNESBURG-SOWETO

Full day “Rise to Freedom” tour to get an intimate understanding of South Africa’s turbulent past. Visit important monuments of South Africa as you learn about the history which once tore this country apart. Tour Constitution Hill, the site of the Old Fort Prison Complex, commonly known as Number Four which at the height of apartheid rule, saw up to 2000 black South Africans processed through its entrance daily. The site is now a museum. In Soweto observe: The Hector Petersen Memorial, the spot where 12 year-old Hector was shot during the Soweto uprisings. Regina Mundi Church. The church was a meeting place for activists deprived of any other place to meet. It played a role in Soweto’s most significant day, when students, revolting against the imposition of Afrikaans teaching by the apartheid government, ran into the church. Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital the largest hospital in the world; named in honor of the African National Congress leader who was assassinated in 1993. Mandela’s House comprising four inter-leading rooms, containing an assortment of memorabilia, paintings and photographs of the Mandela family as well as a collection of honorary doctorates bestowed on Nelson Mandela from universities and institutions around the world. Day 8: JOHANNESBURG-PILANESBERG

After an early breakfast transfer to Sun City, Africa’s Las Vegas and an award winning Casino and fantasy resort. In the afternoon continue to Pilanesburg National Park for a game drive in search of the “Big 5” in their natural habitat. Return to Johannesburg for dinner and overnight. Day 9: JOHANNESBURG- DEPART

After breakfast, go shopping and secure great bargains in crafts, jewelry and other items. This evening transfer to the airport for your flight back home. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast
