After breakfast, depart for Meknes, one of the four Imperial Cities. Meknes was prosperous while Moulay Ismail was in charge. After stopping at Moulay Idriss' holy city and Volubilis, the Roman city that functioned as the western capital of the largely Romanized but partially independent Berber kingdom, one visits Bab Mansour, Moulay Ismail's mausoleum. This route crosses the Middle Atlas from north to south, and it provides a variety of views of the high meadows that are home to shepherds, sheep, and dark tents. Midelt is a recommended lunch destination. The path is taken to climb the High Atlas's initial hills. The road continues through several gorgeous palm trees in the Ziz valley beyond Tizi Ntarghemt (6040 feet). Keep going south and staying at Erfoud for dinner and the night. Travel to Tineghire after breakfast, passing through a stone desert and lunar vistas. Enter the Todra gorges at Tineghire and have lunch there. Continue across the southern slopes of the High Atlas to reach Ouarzazate. You must go to Kelaa Mgouna in Dades Valley. Dades Valley is well known for two products: roses and perfume essence. A visit of the Tifoultoute and Taourirt kasbahs in the morning. Next stop is Ait Benhaddou, one of Morocco's most spectacular kasbahs and a popular location for movies (Jesus of Nazareth, Lawrence of Arabia, Diamond of the Nile) In the afternoon, take a drive to Marrakech. Following the Imini River, the path ascends through agricultural regions, picturesque Berber villages, and a number of derelict Kasbahs. The road zigzags up to Tizi Ntichka pass (7500 ft). Just before the pass, explore Telouat Kasbah, which was the home of the Glaoua, a prosperous Berber family that supervised trade from the Sahara to the Atlantic. The trail descends after the top and provides breathtaking views of the terraced Berber communities below. Continue through the rural countryside to Marrakech. We travel back in time to see the Bahia Palace, a stunning example of domestic architecture, the Dar Si Said Museum, and the 12th-century Koutoubia mosque. Wander through the maze-like souks' quarters housing jewelers, herbalists, and dyers. The trip comes to an end in Jemaa El Fna Square, where a large, bustling carnival with storytellers, fire eaters, snake charmers, acrobats, jugglers, and a variety of other artists sets up shop every day. On a patio with views of the square, sip mint tea and enjoy some nibbles. Attend a dinner and Fantasia performance in the evening.
