Lake Duluti Lodge

This one-of-a-kind hotel is amid coffee plantations on the shores of serene Lake Duluti, at the foot of Mount Meru’s wooded slopes. Mountain Village is a collection of nicely presented cottage-style rooms located amid wide landscaped grounds, designed to mimic the traditional aesthetic of the colonial coffee estate that once flourished on this site.

The hotel, which is located at the entrance to Tanzania’s famous “Northern Safari Circuit,” provides a variety of activities, including walking, mountain biking, lake paddling, and visits to the surrounding Arusha and Mount Meru national parks.

A stone-built welcome area leads to a lounge, library, restaurant, boutique, and business center. The new building’s imposing scale and open architecture harken tribute to the hotel’s earlier form as a thriving coffee farm dating back to colonial times.

The Lodge stands on the shores of Lake Duluti, 20 kilometers from Arusha and 60 kilometers from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
