The Gambia’s 5-Star Beach Hotel & Resort, more commonly known as “the Jewel on the Smiling Coast” of West Africa is situated only 20 minutes drive from the International Airport and 30 minutes from Banjul – the Capital City of The Gambia.

The Suite categories are Premium suites, Executive suites, Garden suites, Service apartments, Kairaba suites and Executive suites.

All Suites feature an entrance hall, a kitchenette, a dining room/lounge, a master bathroom and a separate guest bathroom. The room categories are Standard rooms, Deluxe rooms and Superior Deluxe rooms. Standard and Deluxe rooms have one bedroom, but they differ in size and form from the other.

This is Kairaba’s main dining place – a tropical-style restaurant with cane furniture, fully air-conditioned, with a large al-fresco terrace allowing a splendid view of the gardens and the ocean.

Breakfast is served at the Kingfisher Restaurant and the extensive spread of the bountiful buffet will satisfy even the most discerning palate. The evening Theme Buffets are a well-kept secret by the international travelling society and the delicious variety of creatively prepared dishes is astonishing to even the greatest die-hard gourmets. SHIKRA – FINE DINING RESTAURANT:

The Malimbe – integrated into a traditional African Style House with a grass-covered roof is located at the poolside just a few steps away from the beach – and absorbs that special indescribable relaxed holiday feeling. During the dry season-themed buffets are served in the evenings, which are accompanied by various entertainment and local cultural shows.

THE BOLONG POOL BAR:
Guests at the Kairaba love the airy African atmosphere that the Bolong Bar absorbs. Here the dress- code is left to the customer’s desire – live music and evening shows change daily.

THE MONSOON BAR:
Located at the main building and adjacent to the Kingfisher Restaurant, this Bar serves a large array of tropical and international Cocktails and Long Drinks, draught & imported Beers, Wine & Champagne by the glass as well as the real Italian Espresso and Cappucino.
