Visit the crocodile pool, where animals congregate and buffalos wallow in the mud. There will be many bird species to see, including little hornbills, grey herons, eagles, blackbirds, and king fishers.

Bandia Wildlife Reserve has been successful in returning much of the magnificent natural flora and animals that are unique to West Africa which had progressively vanished owing to demographic pressure and poaching. Discovering the graves of respected Griots built under some of the Baobab trees is a cultural experience you won't want to miss. Griots were once considered outcasts, storytellers, drummers, and singers who were frequently buried inside the hollows of these Baobabs. Return to Saly Beach Resort in the early evening.
