DAY 3: ABEOKUTA – IBADAN – OSHOGBO

Leave for Oshogbo, the capital of Osun State, after breakfast. Oshogbo is situated in a farming area where yams, cassava, maize, cotton, and tobacco are farmed. As soon as you arrive, start your tour of this important town, which is best known for being the location of the yearly festival along the river Osun. The sacred grove of the river goddess Osun, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, serves as the focal point of the event. One of the last remaining areas of primary high forest in southern Nigeria is the dense forest of the Osun Sacred Grove.
The terrain of the grove and its meandering river are littered with sanctuaries and shrines, sculptures, and art pieces in honor of Oxun and other deities. Oxun is regarded as the dwelling of the goddess of fertility Osun, one of the pantheons of Yoruba gods. For all Yoruba people, the sacred grove serves as a symbol of identity. It provides evidence of a once common practice of creating sacred groves outside all settlements. Visit Ile-national Ife's museum and historical attractions after lunch (at your own expense). The founding deities Oduduwa and Obatala started creating the universe at Ife, according to the Yoruba people, under the guidance of the supreme Deity Olodumare. Go back to the hotel and spend the rest of the evening as you please.

DAY 5: BENIN-CITY – LAGOS

After breakfast, finish the city tour before leaving for Lagos. Upon arrival in Lagos, continue to the Kalakuta Republic Museum with a private guide to learn more about the life of renowned Afrobeat musician Fela Kuti. The house, which reopened in 2012, was Kuti's home from the 1970s until his passing in 1997. On the property is a mausoleum where Fela is interred. View more items and exhibits about his life in the room, including his restored bedroom. Additionally, there is an on-site gift shop and a rooftop bar where you may enjoy a drink (on your own dime) while contemplating Kuti's numerous musical accomplishments.
The Museum where the late Afrobeat Legend was interred is the first structure on the left as soon as you enter the Kalakuta Museum grounds. The main entrance is next, leading to the museum's ground floor, where televisions are located and play recordings of the late Fela performing live. The Fela memorabilia store, which sells everything from T-shirts to gifts and CD collections of his songs, is located on the main floor. Then up the stairs to the second story, where his bedroom, the outfits he wore for his tours and stage performances, his awards, and more images of his families and numerous spouses are located (27).
From here, you can access the rooftop bar on the building's last story. Here, you can enjoy the sunshine while eating lunch while listening to Fela's music. To see a live performance by Femi Anikulapo-Kuti & the Positive Force, continue to the New "Africa shrine." (Optional: just on Sundays. After your trip, go back to your hotel.
