When you get to Lome, you will be welcomed and taken to your hotel.

Day 2 Lake Togo

Drive to Agbodrafo through coconut farms after leaving Lome. Continue to the fishermen's town of Pedakondji after visiting the historic slave dungeons. Arrive at Pedakondji, observe daily life there, and then travel on to Glidji, the spiritual center of the Guin Group.
Visit the temples in Glidji, speak with the main priest of the sacred forest, and find out about the ritual of raising the sacred stone. Visit Sewatrsikope and take a boat across Lake Togo to Togoville.
When you arrive in Togoville, you can see the historic German Cathedral and the royal museum before being welcomed by the king and his court. Drive to the hotel in Lome after returning to Sewatsikope by boat.

Day 3 Kloto Tour
Day 3 Kloto Tour

Depart for Kpalime from Lome. Visit a bush school, traditional villages and markets, and monuments to the dead while traveling (if it is a school day). The excursion continues through coffee and cocoa fields and the base of Mount Agou, Togo's highest point. Visit the Kloto Craft Center when you get to Kpailime to see how batik, macrame, and ceramics are designed.
Drive up Mount Kloto to the "Campement," a historic German sanitarium. Lunch at Kpalime should be taken. Before leaving for Lome overnight, observe "Akpesse" folk dance at a village performed in the authentic Ewe manner.

Day 4 Voodoo Ceremony
Day 4 Voodoo Ceremony

Leave Lome after breakfast to see a voodoo village. Receive a warm welcome as you arrive in the village and watch the Hounon, the chief priest, perform libation. Observe an authentic voodoo ritual when participants enter a trance to the beat of drums and ceremonial melodies. After dinner and sleep, return to Lome.

Day 5 Sio River

Leave Lome towards the settlement of Dzagle. Visit the fetish tree and the monuments to the dead when you arrive at Dzagle. To the Yogon settlement, keep going. Talk to the chief and his court when you meet them.
Travel through the fields to Lebe village after leaving the chief's palace. Enjoy a leisurely boat down the Sio river as you walk toward Devego village. After dinner and sleep, return to Lome.
