Arrive in Monrovia, be welcomed, and be taken to your hotel.

Day 2: MONROVIA HISTORICAL TOUR

After breakfast, take a tour of Monrovia, with stops at the Joseph Jenkins Roberts memorial and the remains of the Ducor Hotel, which once stood on the city's highest point. The monument honoring Liberia's most well-liked president, William V.S. Tubman, and Providence Baptist Church, the country's oldest church and the location of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, both built in the 18th century.

Day 3: MONROVIA – JOLA HOUSE WOMEN’S SOCIAL ENTERPRISE

Visit the Jola House Women's Social Enterprise after breakfast to witness artisans who have become self-sufficient via designing and making furniture.

Day 4: MONROVIA – GBARNGA – KPATAWEE WATERFALLS

After breakfast, proceed to Gbarnga in Bong County to learn about the cultural and archaeological heritage of these tribes in Liberia. While there, you can visit various tribal villages. Visit the Kpatawee Waterfalls, which are shaded by a thick canopy, and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing or taking a leisurely walk around the falls.

Day 5: MONROVIA VILLAGE EXPERIENCE

Following breakfast, we journey through rural Liberia to discover a genuine African village like no other. Learn about village life from a local's perspective and get to know the lovely Bassa people's rich historical and cultural legacy. A unique cultural performance that you are asked to participate in and showcase your talents will round off your tour. This is a memory that will definitely endure forever. (A minimum of 6 people is needed for a cultural performance.)

Day 6: MONROVIA

Visit the booths of local artisans at the Waterside Market to shop for souvenirs, African artifacts, and carvings after breakfast. Visit local Mandingo tailors as well.

Day 7: FREE TOWN – SIERRA LEONE

After breakfast, go to the airport to board your flight to Freetown; when you arrive, you will be welcomed and taken to your hotel.

Visit the National Museum and other historic sites in the area after breakfast as part of a city tour of Freetown. Take a tour of the city this morning, stopping at the market and the National Museum. After lunch, visit Fourah Bay College at the University of Sierra Leone, the oldest university in West Africa. While there, take in the breathtaking view from the mountaintop and the university's surrounding botanical gardens.

Day 9: FREETOWN – BUNCE ISLAND

Drive to Aberdeen after breakfast and take a trip to Bunce Island, which was built as a commercial fort to aid in the transatlantic slave trade, during which time the Gullah Tribe, a group of roughly 50,000 people, were primarily sold into slavery on rice farms in South Carolina and Georgia. Explore the slaves' routes as you walk through Bunce Island's ruins.

Day 10: ROGBONKO VILLAGE

Drive to Rogbonko Village Retreat after breakfast to experience actual village life, get to know the locals, and learn about their culture and way of life.

Spend all day in the village after breakfast.

Drive to Banana village and the Ricketts Islands after breakfast. These two villages are connected by a spit of sand that is submerged during high tide and are situated on the coast facing the Western Peninsula. The path between the two islands, where visitors can explore the culture and interact with the locals, is connected by a stone bridge.

Day 13: FREE TOWN / DEPART

Drive to Banana village and the Ricketts Islands after breakfast. These two villages are connected by a spit of sand that is submerged during high tide and are situated on the coast facing the Western Peninsula. The path between the two islands, where visitors can explore the culture and interact with the locals, is connected by a stone bridge.
