Bioko Explorer – The island of Bioko is the largest in Equatorial Guinea and is located northwest of the mainland region. Malabo, the country’s capital and most important city, is located in the north. This is the place to go if you appreciate adventure, animals, and nature.

Itinerary

Day 1: WELCOME MALABO - MOKA
Day 1: WELCOME MALABO - MOKA

Welcome to Malabo! We will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel in the Moka National Park, where your Equatorial Guinea journey will begin.

Overnight at Hotel Moka

Day 2: MOKA
Day 2: MOKA

The first journey will be with a local guide who will tell us about the history of the Bubi people and bring us to the most mystical and "haunted" location on the Island of Bioko, Lake Biao (Lake of Moka), the Bubi people's cradle. What happens when rain falls on an inactive volcano? It floods, offering amazing views of animals and pristine flora.

Expect more than a stroll; we'll take you on a jungle adventure where you'll feel like a genuine explorer, with a machete in hand and much to uncover.

Day 3 : MOKA - UREKA
Day 3 : MOKA - UREKA

The first excursion will be with a local guide who will tell us about the Bubi people's history and transport us to Lake Biao (Lake of Moka), the Bubi people's birthplace. What happens when rain falls on a dormant volcano? It overflows, presenting breathtaking views of animals and clean flora.

Expect more than a stroll; we'll take you on a jungle adventure where you'll feel like a genuine explorer, armed with a machete and plenty to learn.

Overnight at Ureka Camp

Day 4: UREKA - MALABO

Breakfast and sunrise on the beach were followed by a swim with the Alba lights and some bush walking before heading back to the vehicles to travel to Malabo.

The final day in town was free for last-minute shopping before heading home.

Overnight at Hotel Anda Malabo or similar

Day 5: MALABO - DEPARTURE
Day 5: MALABO - DEPARTURE

On the last day, we will see some of the city's most beautiful and recent attractions, including the promenade and the Malabo National Park. The park has several natural trees as well as works of art by Guinean artisans. A well-kept treasure.

The rest of the day will be free for you to explore the park on your own or learn about the city's mysteries.

We'll have to say our final farewells here. We're positive you enjoyed it as much as we did. We will transport you to the airport and make all required preparations for you.
