Arrive in Addis Ababa, meet your guide, and travel to your hotel.

Overnight at Ghion Hotel or Similar

DAY 2: AWASSA
DAY 2: AWASSA

Travel to Awassa, the capital of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples Region, after breakfast. Awasa is a lovely Ethiopian town on the banks of Lake Awasa, having a nice temperature and a diverse range of species to observe. The lake's borders are alive with coffee plantations, fruit gardens, and the Bale Mountains to the east. The Sidama people who dwell here are known for their stunning beehive-shaped, woven homes made of bamboo and covered in enset leaves during the rainy season. En route, stop at Debre-crater Zeit's lakes and Zeway's shallowest Rift Valley lake to view different types of birds.

DAY 3: AWASSA / ARBAMINCH

In the morning, visit Awassa's largest open-air fish market before driving to Arba Minch for lunch at Soma's legendary seafood restaurant, then to Chencha, a small mountain town home to the Dorze people. These people are well-known for their bamboo-constructed homes and gorgeous cotton-woven clothes. Continue your trip till you reach Arba Minch. Arba Minch, also known as Ganta Garo, is the biggest town in Southern Ethiopia. The town is located on some of Ethiopia's most fertile soil, where a variety of fruits may grow. Not only that, but you will enjoy an incredible experience with views of the Rift Valley and the Bridge of God.

DAY 4: JINKA

After breakfast, drive to Jinka. Along the trip, stop to meet the Derashe, Tsemay, and Bena peoples.

DAY 5: JINGA/MAGO NATIONAL PARK/JINGA
DAY 5: JINGA/MAGO NATIONAL PARK/JINGA

After breakfast, go to Mago National Park to witness the Mursi tribe, who are known for placing a clay disc into their lower lip as a sign of feminine appeal. After a picnic lunch in the park, return to Jinka for the night.

DAY 6: TURMI
DAY 6: TURMI

Drive to Turmi via Keyafer after breakfast. Visit the Hammer ethnic group in their traditional village en way. Camping for the night in Evangadi.

DAY 7: MURULE AND KANGATE

After breakfast, drive to Murule and Kangate to explore the Karo and Bume ethnic communities, then to Rift Valley Safari Lodge for lunch before returning to Turmi for overnight camping.

Drive to Arbaminch via Erbore, stopping for a picnic lunch in Woito. Visit the Konso Waga settlement and the Gezer Gio red dirt pinnacle, which was formed by erosion. Spend the night in a hotel.

Return to Addis after breakfast, where you may rest or embark on a city tour.

Full day sightseeing tour of the capital Addis Ababa which includes a morning visit to the National Museum; Trinity Cathedral and the Mercato - biggest open-air market of its kind in Africa. The afternoon visit includes St. George Cathedral; the Ethnological Museum and the commanding panoramic viewpoint of Mount Entoto which offers an excellent view of the city. This evening transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
