The Kibale Forest area may be reached by drive in around seven hours. After leaving the Lake Victoria Basin, travel through the lovely agricultural area where every type of fruit and vegetable imaginable is grown. As we approach Kyanjojo, which is located in the lower foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, often known as the "Mountains of the Moon," we pass through gorgeous tea plantations and the Kibale tropical rain forest. We are staying at the Beautiful Ndali Lodge, which is positioned on a high saddle between two crater lakes. You may take in the breathtaking scenery and chilly climate in Ndali. The lodge was constructed by the late British tea farmer Captain Mark Price, whose family continues to operate it as a working farm. High ceilings, four-poster beds, and locally made crafts are all features of the rooms. Despite having no electricity, this lodge has a lot of candles and oil lighting available at night, which creates a romantic, "old Africa" feel.

We go on treks in the forest and swamp today to see the rain forest and view birds and primates, including chimpanzees. All of the hikes are conducted by competent local guides, and walking is made simple by the pathways that have been cut out of the jungle.

Tracking Day for Gorillas. After breakfast, we quickly go to the park headquarters to meet with the local trackers and guides who will brief us on proper gorilla trekking protocol. We then go off on our trip into the forest, which may last anywhere between one and six hours and reach heights of more than 7,500 feet. Although the trip is physically taxing due to the hard terrain, it is enjoyable due to the splendor of the surrounding forest and surroundings. The encounter is sometimes said to as the most profound natural history experience in the world, so once the gorillas are identified, all exhaustion is gone. It is advised to use effective cameras and a lot of fast-speed films to capture this unique event.
