After breakfast listen to a briefing from the park headquarters, before heading for your memorable gorilla trek. The trek may take 1-8 hours, depending on the movement of the animals in their natural environment. A maximum of one hour will be allowed with the Gorillas.

After breakfast, drive to Karisoke where Dian Fossey was buried; this is where she carried out her research on mountain Gorillas in Africa. In the afternoon drive to Lake Kivu for overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy your morning at leisure. In the afternoon enjoy a bird watching boat ride along Lake Kivu; explore the small Islands.
