At Ouidah's annual voodoo festival, thousands of people assemble to honor the land and exhibit their faith, discover the mysteries of the voodoo religion. There are religious ceremonies, clothes fairs, seafood markets, and traditional African music in addition to these other activities. This festival, one of the biggest in Benin, is regarded as a celebration of culture. As the sun begins to set, the Zangbetos start their final dance, their rattles generating an incredible sound together.
