Mweya Safari Lodge is situated on a peninsula in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, surrounded by the magnificent Rwenzori Mountains, sometimes known as the ‘Mountains of the Moon.’ look at our video The Great Rift Valley hills, to the east, defend the cradle of mankind, separated from the Mountains of the Moon by the flowing Kazinga Channel. The water here rushes inexorably into two massive lakes, Lake George and Lake Edward.
