  1. Day 1 Abidjan, Côte D’Ivoire

    Arrive Abidjan; meet assist and transfer to Hotel.

  2. Day 2 Abidjan And Vicinity

    Your morning begins with a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. Take a scenic drive along the lagoon to Grand Bassam, a city on the sea. Embark on a panoramic tour of this colonial capital during the French occupation, which is today a center for crafts and food markets. Visit the costume museum, craft center where you can see all kinds of crafts being made, the governor’s palace, and the Arianne Monument. 

    In the afternoon, enjoy some time shopping for souvenirs before we drive back to Abidjan.

  3. Day 3 Abidjan To Yamoussoukro (245Km)

    After breakfast and check out, you depart to Abengourou, the capital of the Indie kingdom. On your way, stop at the village of Aniassué where you will have the opportunity to see women who have become legendary for their ability to dance on stilts. You will enjoy the spectacular Komian Dance of these women as they demonstrate their talent in an environment that feels like a performance at a music festival. You’ll most likely also partake in some activities with the women, such as creating masks, fire spinning, or dancing!  

    Enjoy a tour of local cocoa and coffee plantations, the warm reception of the King of Niable, King Nanan Kouaho, and a meet and greet with local radio hosts. 

    Later, head towards Abengourou where you will check into your hotel

  4. Day 4 Yamoussoukro

    After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and continue our journey to Yamoussoukro. Today is for you to discover the magnificent Parc National du “Yamoussoukro” with its 16 sacred Crocodiles, the “Basilica Notre Dame de la Paix du Yamoussoukro” (World’s Highest Basilica), mosques, and polytechnic schools. 

    You will be transferred to your hotel for the night.

  5. Day 5 Yamoussoukro To Grand Bassam (285 Km)

    Following breakfast and check out of the hotel, you will head to the village of Soubre. We stop on the way to visit the sacred monkeys of Gbetitapea and a “Bete” ethnic group market. We continue to the spectacular waterfalls of River Nawa before transfer to the hotel.

  6. Day 6 Grand Bassam And Tiagba (95Km)

    Today, visit Grand Bassam, the first capital of Cote d’Ivoire. Grand Bassam remains an important seaside resort. The first trading houses were built here. Visit the old quarter with the Museum of Costumes, the Wickerwork Center, the Ceramics Center, the Craft Center and the Souvenir Market. This afternoon, tour the interesting village of Tiagba, which is constructed entirely on stilts over the river. Return to Grand Bassam for overnight.

  7. Day 7 Grand Bassam/Abidjan/Depart

    After breakfast, embark on the city of Abidjan. Abidjan is a captivating and vibrant city made up of the Plateau, the historic European city center with its monuments and gardens; Cubry, the plateaus lively center, with its shops, markets and restaurants; Cocody district, where many former high-ranking government officials have built ostentatious residences; and Treichville, one of Abidjan’s largest slums that has nonetheless become a very busy commercial area.  

    It’s a must-visit on any tour of Abidjan to Abobo, the north-western part of the city, where you will find the largest outdoor laundry place in Africa. You will be thrilled to witness the spectacular sight of hundreds of washermen, no women are involved here, working effortlessly in the middle of the stream to wash clothes.  

    Here, work never stops; these washermen frantically rub the garments on huge stones held in place by old vehicle tires and then spread the clothes over rocks and grass to allow them to dry. There is never any mixed up with clients’ clothes despite the look of confusion when one sees the masses of clothes.
