Sunday – Freetown

Today you will visit the Tacugama Chimp Sanctuary located about 40 minutes from the centre of Freetown. Hike the nature trails to Charlotte Village and Charlotte Falls. You may spend time will the villagers.

Monday – Freetown / Monrovia

Today you will fly to Monrovia , if flights are not available you will be taken by road to the Liberian arriving early evening.

Tuesday – Monrovia

Visit places of interest in the capital of Africa's first independent state, including the World's largest Rubber Plantation.

Day 20

Wednesday – Monrovia

Travel three hours north of Monrovia to visit one of Liberia’s many gems. Just outside of Gbarnga, the capital of Bong County, turn off onto a dusty road, through the rain forest and past tiny villages, you will marvel at Kpatawee Waterfall. Covered by the lush canopy, this tumbling waterfall and large natural swimming pool offers a great way to relax and enjoy Liberia's natural wonders.

Thursday – Arrive in Accra

On arrival in Ghana you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. Today’s activities will depend on the time you arrive in Accra.

Day 22

Friday – Accra

Tour of Accra including Independence Square, Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and museum. The university of Ghana.

Saturday – Drive to Kumasi

Drive to Kumasi arriving early afternoon. Get immersed in Ashanti history and culture including visits to Okomfo Anokye Sword, Ashanti craft villages and Manhiya Palace and museum.

Day 24

Sunday – Kumasi to Cape Coast

Depart for Cape Coast. You shall transit the rich Gold mine town of Obuasi. Stop at Assin Manso, the burial site of two former slaves from the U. S. and Jamaica whose remains were re-interred during Ghana’s first Emancipation Day Celebration. Visit Cape Coast Castle and the Castle Museum. See the “Door of No Return”.

Monday – Cape Coast

Visit Kakum National Park. Kakum is one of Ghana’s most famous parks. Visit Elmina Castle, the first European built structure in sub-Saharan Africa.
