International flight arrives in Ndjamena; you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 Ndjamena

After breakfast, go on a city tour of Ndjamena. Places to visit include the Central market, the National Museum and Craft center. Complete the day with a visit to the village of Gaoui, renowned for its pottery by the local women.

Day 3 Lake Chad

Drive to Lake Chad. Have lunch in Douguia; arrive at Lake Chad and board a boat to cruise on the lake. The lake is dotted with many islands and home to a wide variety of wildlife including hippopotamus, crocodiles and large communities of migrating birds including wintering, ducks, ruff and other waterfowl and shore birds. Return to overnight in Ndjamena.

Day 4 Ndjamena – Mongo (~400 km)

This morning you will travel to Mongo, in the mountainous region. On the way you will stop at villages and other points of interest.

Day 5 Mongo – Zakouma Park(~400 Km)

Drive to the Park of Zakouma located at the South-east of the country, En route stop for lunch and continue journey to the Park of Zakouma. Enjoy dinner at the Park restaurant.

Day 6 Zakouma Park

After breakfast, explore the park which is home to a variety of animals: elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, buffalo, Cheetah, etc.
